SMS Messaging & Consent

A public, reviewer-accessible description of how TeamFeeder users choose whether to receive text notifications.

Recurring text notifications are optional.

A person can create a TeamFeeder account without agreeing to recurring text notifications. Consent is collected separately, is unchecked by default, and is not a condition of purchase.

Exact website opt-in workflow

  1. Open the public registration page at https://teamfeeder.net/join.
  2. Select a TeamFeeder role and choose Continue.
  3. Enter the account details and mobile phone number.
  4. Review the separate Optional text notifications checkbox. It is unchecked by default and is separate from Terms and Privacy acceptance.
  5. Check the box only if recurring TeamFeeder SMS notifications are wanted, then choose Review and submit the registration.

TeamFeeder records whether consent was granted, along with the time, public source URL, and disclosure version. If the checkbox is not selected, the registration can still proceed and no recurring SMS consent is recorded.

Message frequency varies, up to 10 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.

  • TeamFeeder: Your verification code is 123456. It expires in 10 minutes. Do not share this code. Reply STOP to opt out.
  • TeamFeeder: Hooch 6th Grade Football practice is tomorrow at 6:00 PM at Newtown Park. View details at teamfeeder.net. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
  • TeamFeeder: Fall Baseball registration closes August 31. Complete registration at teamfeeder.net. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

One-time phone confirmation

Registration and unverified account sign-in use a separate one-time security text. Users review their mobile number and choose “Text my code” after seeing the rate disclosure and links to Terms and Privacy. No text is sent automatically on login. TeamFeeder records the send request and timestamp as evidence of this confirmation request; it does not opt the user into recurring notifications. Standard message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

  • Reply STOP to unsubscribe. A final confirmation may be sent.
  • Reply HELP for help or email support@teamfeeder.net.
  • Mobile information and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
